Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) extends date for AMUEEE 2016 Registrations

The application procedure for AMUEEE (Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam) is going on and earlier, the last date for submission of application was February 16. But now the last date for registration has been extended. Interested candidates can now register till February 19. According to sources, the dates have been extended due to heavy traffic at the university website. The last date for offline application submission, has also been extended from February 20 to February 23. This test is conducted to provide admissions to undergraduate degree courses in Engineering (B. Tech/B.E.(Evening) and B. Arch programmes) offered by various colleges under the university.


Eligibility criteria Educational qualification: Interested candidates are required to have passed Senior secondary school certificate examination of Aligarh Muslim University or an equivalent examination, with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those candidates who possess a Diploma in Engineering of Aligarh Muslim University, with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply.


Examination centres Aligarh (UP) Lucknow (UP) Kolkata (West Bengal) Srinagar (J&K) Khanapara (Meghalaya) Patna (Bihar) Paper pattern The paper will consist of total 150 objective type questions based on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Each question will carry one mark each. The duration of the exam will be three hours for B.Tech, two hours for B.E Evening course and three hours each for B.Arch paper one and two.
