Jr Panchayat Secretary Exam Postponed

The written examination for junior panchayat secretary posts, scheduled for October 4, was postponed to October 10. Examination convener Neetu Prasad said candidates would answer Paper 1 from 10 am to 12 noon and Paper II from 3 pm to 5 pm on October 10. The decision was taken following requests from candidates that there were al-ready some other competitive examinations scheduled for October 4, she said in a statement. In all, 5,62,424 candidates applied for 9,355 posts.
