Telangana SSC Board Exams Postponed

Telangana High Court on Friday directed the state and its SSC board to postpone all the SSC exams scheduled to be held from Mar 23 to March 31. The exam which is scheduled for tomorrow will be held as per schedule. As the SSC exams were planned to be conducted till April 6, the State has to assess the situation and accordingly re-notify the exam schedule.


Earlier, CBSE and ICSE boards informed that all the exams up to March 31 have been postponed in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. New schedule for the exams will be announced.


Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana (TSBSE) commenced the SSC examination on March 19, 2020. The board had allowed students to wear face masks due to the coronavirus outbreak. Earlier, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao instructed for the closure of all educational institutions in the state till March 31.
