Telangana D.El. Ed., DPSE Exams Postpones Scheduled in April

Government Examinations Directorate, Telangana has postponed D.El. Ed for the first and second year. planned for April 2020. The exams were delayed due to lockout of the coronavirus. The D.El. Ed had been prepared by the Directorate. 1st 2 and 2nd  year exams from 20 April till 2 May 2020. The decision was informed to all District Education Officers, Principals of all Government DIETS, and Private Colleges in the state. The Directorate has also postponed examinations for 1st and 2nd year candidates for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DPSE). The exams were also scheduled for April 20 through May 2. The re-scheduled time table will be notified later on the Directorate's official website, 'bse.telangana.gov.in'.


Meanwhile, national board evaluations have been delayed with educational boards working out modalities for conducting the requisite exams and promoting the students. CBSE has said it will not conduct board exams for the remaining books, and it will offer exams for the main subjects only for Class 12. However, CBSE will hold class 10 exams for already-held papers for students in North East Delhi. Telangana Board has not made any such announcements yet.


Higher Educational Institutes have also postponed semester exams and are mulling conducting examinations online. In addition, educational organizations have come up with new methods of carrying out the teaching practices. These include the virtual classes, tools for e-learning and applications for teaching.
