Indian Air Force Review (STAR) Date to be told in May

As per a latest report, the new exam date for the Airmen selection test of the Indian Air Force, STAR, will be revealed in the second week of may. The review was scheduled to take place from March 19 through March 23. However the exam was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockout. The Indian Air Force published an update on their website on March 17 saying the STAR was postponed to the last week of April.


A recent update says it will reveal the test date in the second week of May. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, various government advisories and lock-ups in the region, STAR 01/2020 online exam scheduled to be postponed from 19-23 Mar 20. In the second week of May 2020 fresh dates will be intimated, reads the IAF update. Via STAR, the Indian Air Force selects candidates in group X trades (with the exception of education teacher trade) and group Y trades with the exception of auto mobile technicians, Indian Air Force (police), Indian Air Force (security) and music trades.


Candidates will be selected in the online examination and/or trade examination, physical health test and medical exam based on their results. Candidate list finally called for intake 01/2021 will be released on 10 December 2020. Separate call letters shall be sent to applicants who are requested to be registered, reads the exam note, although this can change because the exam date has changed.
