Private College holds exam amid lockdown in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Flouting the lockdown rules, a corporate junior college allegedly conducted an entrance examination for admissions into intermediate first-year courses on Sunday.


Even before the Class X exams are held and results are announced, the corporate college management organised the admission test.


According to the NSUI, Telangana, Class X students from districts like Sangareddy and Medak attended the exam which was conducted in an apartment in Nizampet area in the city. The college management was caught red-handed when we went to check. How come such an entrance test for inter admissions is conducted when the SSC Public Exams are yet to be held? Moreover, it is clear violation of lockdown rules. The management was also selling second-year books to students in the same premises, NSUI State president B Venkat, alleged.
