Maharashtra Board SSC & HSC Exams Postponed Maharashtra SSC HSC board exam is scheduled for 2021. The state government has agreed to postpone the SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) final exams due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra. Varsha Gaikwad, Maharashtra's School Education Minister, said the current situation makes conducting exams impossible, and the government will write to other boards, including CBSE and ICSE, asking them to rethink their exams. In Maharashtra, class 12 board exams will be conducted by the end of May, and class 10 board exams will be held in June. These exams had previously been scheduled for the last week of April. “Various alternative assessment options were examined during the consultations with the health, well-being, and future of our students in mind. Exams were postponed, which appeared to be the most practical option, according to the minister.
Last week, Maharashtra's School Education Minister said that the state is considering alternate methods for grading board exam students.
