TS ECET Notification 2024

A Common Entrance Test designated in full as Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders of Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy and for B.Sc.(Mathematics) Degree Holders and in short as TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2024 will be conducted by JNTU-Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for the academic year 2021-22 in accordance with G.O.Ms.No: 24 Education (EC) Department dated:18.03.2004, G.O. Ms. No: 25, dated:28.06.2006 and G.O.Ms.No:19, dated: 02.02.2008 for Diploma Holders and G.O. Ms. No. 57 (EC2) dated:12.05.2008 & G.O. Ms. No. 58 (EC2) dated:12.05.2008 for B.Sc.(Mathematics) degree holders, G.O.Ms. No. 49 dated 04-06-2011 & G.O.Ms. No. 15(EC) dated 18.8.2014.

(i)For lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in both University and Un- aided Private Professional Institutions (Minority & Non-Minority) approved by All India Council for Technical Education and

(ii)For lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.Pharm. Course in both University and private Un- aided professional institutions (Minority & Non-Minority) approved by Pharmacy Council of India. Telangana ECET Exam Dates 2024:

Eligibility Criteria for TS ECET 2024:

Candidates should satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for appearing at the TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)]-2024.

• They should be of Indian Nationality.
• They should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/nonlocal status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended. The same is adapted to the state of Telangana G.O.Ms.33 dated 31.12.2014.
• They should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh as equivalent there to for admission into the relevant B.E. / B. Tech./ B. Pharmacy Courses corresponding to the Diplomas as given in the Annexure (see in Instruction Booklet).
OR They should have passed the 3-year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh state or its equivalent for entry into relevant courses as given in the Annexure.
• Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course under sandwich pattern shall be eligible for entry into the relevant B.E./B.Tech./B. Pharmacy courses provided they have completed the practical training for the sandwich course before close of counseling for entry into the relevant course.
• Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy/ B.Sc (Mathematics) Degree as the case may be with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) for entry into relevant courses.

Criteria for Admissions:

1. For admission into Degree programme in Information Technology, first preference will be given to candidates who have obtained the Diploma in Information Technology. Any seats still vacant shall be filled with candidates who have obtained their Diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology on the basis of their integrated merit ranking.
2. For admission into Degree programme in Textile Technology, candidates who have obtained their Diploma in Textile Technology (Design & Manufacturing) and Textile Technology (Knitting) must necessarily have completed their Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
3. For admission into Degree programme in Bio-Technology, first preference will be given to candidates who have obt aine d t h e Diploma i n Bio-Technology. Any seats still vacant shall be filled with candidates who have obtained their Diploma in Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering in the ratio of 1:1 respectively.
4. Diploma Holders of Special Diploma course in Industrial Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering have to appear for TS ECET � FDH Examination in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering only (EIE) for admission into Instrumentation Engineering (IE) / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering /Instrumentation Control Engineering courses.

TS ECET 2024 Application Fee & Payment:

• For SC,ST Students: Rs 400/- (Without Late Fee)
• For Others Students: Rs 800/- (Without Late Fee)
• The Fee may be paid at any TS Online Centers and also through Payment Gateway (Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking).

HOW TO APPLY:

• Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE
• Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Boards website http://ecet.tsche.ac.in Instructions for submitting online application and payment of fee are available on website.
• Candidates may remit the fee in the following manner.
• Pay the required application fees for the form
• No you can proceed to fill application form
• On the given page fill the entire mandatory column carefully and accurately
• Upload the scanned copies of all required document in the given format
• After completing all formalities submit the application
• Take the printout of the submitted application for further use.

NOTE :

1.This is only a Notification for entrance test and not a Prospectus. Candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant G.O.s at the time of admission.

2.The allocation of Regional Centre will be based on First cum First Registration basis. However, decision of the Convener is final in this regard. Request for Change of Test Centre will not be entertained under any circumstances.

3.Relevant G.O.s issued by the State Government may be referred from time to time for the eligibility to get scholarship after admission into the Professional courses.
